Colt Canyon

Colt Canyon is a 2D pixel-art roguelite shooter set in the wild west. You control a cowboy (or one of many unlockable characters) on a mission to save a kidnapped partner from ruthless bandits. The atmospheric and punchy combat takes you through a hostile canyon full of hidden treasures, weapons, obstacles, and all kinds of bloodthirsty scum.

The gameplay leans skill-based rather than build-driven. Over 100 different weapons cycle through runs, mixed with TNT, ranged firearms, and stealth options. Optional permadeath, adjustable difficulty, save-and-continue at any time, fantastic keyboard and mouse input, excellent controller support, and local co-op all configure the experience to your preference.

Rescuing your partner is only half the job: you still have to get back home. AI companions can join the journey, randomized but persistent open levels keep the layout fresh, boss fights punctuate progression, and the run loops indefinitely for long sessions. Strategic stealth and fast-paced action both work; minimalist pixel art and stunning particle effects carry the presentation.
