BattleJuice Alchemist

BattleJuice Alchemist follows Juice, an alchemist summoned to Caribou Creek to fight the demons roaming what was once New England. As your own version of Juice, you explore the wilderness and battle evil both in classic isometric top-down action and in bullet-time close combat.

The twist on the action RPG formula is alchemy. You wear no armor and carry no sword; instead you find flasks with unique properties in the wild or craft them at a workbench, then arrange them into a deck-building-style compilation that you draw from at random. Your flasks are your skills, and each can be used normally or in a supercharged, juicified form, with some carrying powers that drastically reshape their effects, so you build your own playstyle. Ritual magic adds long-term buffs on top of character customization.

The world mixes vast procedural landscapes, where an algorithm places every valley, river, mountain and tree, with hand-crafted towns and quest locations that tell focused stories. Daytime, weather and the ever-spawning demons all affect you and your enemies alike, dark altars hold the demonic influence at bay, and combat ranges from explosive and freezing flask attacks at range to tense, hands-on one-on-one duels against the strange creatures of the Crossroads.
