About Bunhouse
Bunhouse is a cozy couch co-op game about bunnies running a greenhouse. There is nothing to kill, no one to compete against, no quests or debts. Just plants that need watering, a greenhouse full of possibility, and up to four friends sitting around the same screen with controllers.
The gameplay is simple by design: balance water and light for each plant, expand the greenhouse, unlock new species, decorate spaces, and play in a relaxed shared environment. The game is openly built as a stress decompression tool — explicitly aimed at "sometimes life is hectic and we just need to be bunnies for an hour."
Up to four players locally on the same computer, with one less controller than the number of players required (one player can use keyboard). Steam Remote Play Together extends this to online sessions, with the caveat that connected players need controllers (a limitation of Unreal Engine's local-input handling).
From solo developer Beretta, who is upfront about the project's scope: small, intentionally so, and unlikely to receive native online multiplayer due to the developer's networking expertise. Press coverage has been generously positive, with multiple outlets singling it out for its commitment to wholesome simplicity. Soundtrack and pacing match.
