About Capybara Spa
Capybara Spa is a relaxing point-and-click simulation where you build and run a spa on a mountainside, with capybaras as your primary clientele and a slowly expanding roster of other animals drifting in as the spa's reputation improves. Turtles, frogs, otters and ducks arrive once the mountain knows you're open for business, and placing capybaras alongside other species can produce small unscripted friendships that the game tracks across visits.
The loop is gentle. Plant fruit gardens to grow lemons, oranges, strawberries and blueberries as snacks for guests, craft soaps, fold towels, gather flowers, and fulfil whatever specific requests the current visitors have arrived with. Keeping the requests served quickly keeps the visitors happy, and happy visitors raise the spa's popularity, which unlocks new furniture — baths, flower beds, additional gardens — and additional buildable space along the mountain. Decoration is treated as a first-class system; the spa's visual identity is yours to design.
Insects participate as helper NPCs. Butterflies, ladybugs, bees and dragonflies flutter around fulfilling background tasks as the spa grows, which keeps the moment-to-moment management from becoming overwhelming even as the guest count climbs. The whole experience leans on its low-pressure tone — no failure state, no rush, no aggressive monetisation — and the deliberate softness of the art and the systems is the entire point of why the game exists.
