Chicken Journey

Chicken Journey is a small, gentle puzzle platformer with a single deceptively philosophical premise: which came first, the chicken or the egg? You play the chicken, and the campaign sends you across a variety of curious environments looking for the answer.

The gameplay vocabulary stays simple — jump, climb, peck — and the puzzles are designed to be approachable rather than punishing. There's no combat, no failure state in the punitive sense. Friendly creatures populate each area and gradually reveal pieces of the world. The art is bright and round-edged, the kind that signals immediately that the game has no intention of being scary.

The soundtrack is the secondary reason to play. The developer markets the music as something you can chill to all day, and the choice to keep the project short and quiet is the whole pitch. The chicken is adorable. The question is large. The answer waits at the end of the journey.
