Macrotis A Mother's Journey

Macrotis: A Mother's Journey follows Mother Bilby on an emotional underground search for her children after a frightening flood, caused by never-ending rain, separates them. The game leans into a deeply emotional tone, balanced against challenging 2.5D puzzle-platforming and a sometimes unforgiving difficulty curve.

Gameplay mixes natural and supernatural abilities. Climb, jump, and gnaw your way through obstacles. Magical powers let Mother Bilby pass through walls and raise barriers; digging and chewing handle the more grounded traversal. Water physics matter constantly: you can drown if you mismanage flooded passages, but you can also use water to your advantage when navigating tight sections.

The atmosphere is beautiful yet dangerous, scored by an enchanting soundtrack and packed with collectibles that flesh out the lore of the Macrotis world.
