About Depth
Depth pits human divers against sharks in dark ocean environments. The teams play asymmetrically. Divers carry spearguns, pistols, underwater assault rifles, sea mines and other gear, and they hunt for treasure to upgrade their loadout over a match. Sharks rely on speed, stealth and razor teeth, stalking from across the map and tearing divers apart in close range.
Seven shark species cover different play styles. The Great White is the classic bruiser, the Tiger Shark hits harder per bite, the Mako is fastest, the Bull Shark thrives in shallow water, the Hammerhead has wide vision, the Thresher uses its tail like a weapon, and the legendary Megalodon is the unlockable apex. Each species has its own evolutions that unlock new tactical options as you play.
Dynamic lighting and shadows do most of the atmospheric work. Visibility flickers in and out, divers' flashlights cut narrow cones through the dark, and the constant uncertainty about whether a shark is nearby keeps every match tense. Persistent stat tracking, achievements and unlockable weapons give long-term reasons to keep playing. AI bot practice fills in offline.
