Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 is an open-world first-person shooter set on an island like no other, a place where armed warlords deal in slaves and capture outsiders for ransom. What begins as a desperate effort to free your captured friends becomes something darker, as escaping the island means giving in to its violence.

The game lets players shape their own approach to every encounter, customizing weapons and skills to favor loud run-and-gun assaults, quiet close-range takedowns or patient sniping. The island itself is a varied playground of mountains, swampy grasslands and white beaches, dotted with towns, temples and river ports, plus relics to find, exotic animals to hunt and mini-games to play. A four-player co-op campaign follows a separate crew struggling to survive against the odds, while a competitive multiplayer mode rewards teamwork through battle cries, revives and support weapons, capped by interactive cutscenes where players choose to punish or spare their foes.
