Dex is a 2D side-scrolling open-world cyberpunk RPG focused on exploration and non-linear gameplay. You are wanted dead by a mysterious far-reaching organization, traversing the futuristic city of Harbor Prime and making unexpected allies on your quest to bring down the system. Inspired by Blade Runner and Neuromancer, the adventure leaves you free to choose your playstyle: silent assassin, hacker, diplomat, or straightforward gunfighter.

Designed as a throwback to earlier 2D platforming and action games combined with modern RPG elements, Dex offers real-time combat, a mature storyline, and interactive dialogues. Customize your character's skills, equipment, and augmentations (implants granting superhuman abilities that open new paths through the open world).

The revolutionary hacking mechanic lets you dive into Cyberspace, overcoming viruses and intrusion countermeasures to deactivate turrets, overload devices, steal corporate data, and cripple enemies. The deeper story tracks an enigmatic AI striving to reach the Singularity, the theoretical event horizon where artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence.
