Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition is IllFonic's 4-vs-1 asymmetric multiplayer game in the Ghostbusters universe, bundled with all four DLC drops from 2023. Four players take the roles of new Ghostbusters with proton packs, PKE meters, and traps; one plays as the Ghost trying to haunt a location into evacuation before the team can catch them.

The Ghost side has multiple ability sets — possess objects, slime areas, set off scares to fill the haunt meter — while the Ghostbusters have to track them through three dimensions with their PKE gear and coordinate a multi-stream wrangle into a trap.

The Firehouse and Ray's Occult Books serve as the game's hub, where players choose missions, customise loadouts, practice firing proton packs, and unlock cosmetics. Solo offline play with bots is supported alongside online multiplayer.

Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson reprise their roles as Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore. The locations include both new haunted venues and familiar Ghostbusters franchise references. Designed to be approachable for casual fans — quick rounds, lots of cosmetic unlocks — rather than as a hardcore competitive offering.
