About GigaBash
GigaBash is a kaiju fighting game built around the iconography of classic Tokusatsu films — Godzilla, Ultraman, the giant-monster-vs-giant-city genre Japan defined in the 1950s and 60s. You play as one of several Titans (Passion Republic Games' original kaiju cast plus crossover guest characters available as DLC), wrecking fully destructible cityscapes from 1-4 player local or online matches.
The combat system covers melee, environmental attacks (skyscrapers become projectiles), and the Giga Energy resource that builds through dealing damage and chains. Fill it and you transform into your S-Class — a terrifyingly titanic final form that can rewrite the fight in your favor. Some characters pilot Titan-hunting Mechs with lightning attacks rather than transforming directly; the asymmetric roster supports significantly different combat styles.
Campaign modes include four unique single-player storylines uncovering the origins (and misadventures) of the Titans, a co-op horde mode against endless waves of enemies and mutations (with Godzilla characters invading playthroughs), and a solo arcade mode against 8 random opponents and a Final Boss. A casual party game mode with wacky minigames fills the social-play niche. Cross-play covers Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games platforms.
