Harvest Hunt

Harvest Hunt is a single-player, first-person survival horror game laced with rogue-lite elements, set in the cursed village of Luna Nova. Its painterly fields hide a dark folk-horror tale, thick with dread, and every run pushes you to adapt in new ways to survive.

By night you enter Luna Nova as the Warden to gather Ambrosia, a precious resource the village depends on, while the Devourer prowls the corn and taints the land. Racing the clock, you can douse your lantern to sneak and hide, or stand and fight to banish the monster for a larger reward. Runs last 10 to 15 minutes and play out over five harvest seasons, with your abilities resetting each season as the Devourer grows stronger.

By day, a tarot-inspired system called the Whispers deals out endless permutations of calamities and blessings. You unlock otherworldly weapons and abilities, from a costly wooden voodoo doll to a free rusty pitchfork, and build a deck to suit your playstyle, sometimes sacrificing your own health to equip it. You also step into a colorful cast of villagers, an aristocrat and a priest among them, seen through the eyes of a modern-day Investigator caught in the same curse.
