Knights And Bikes

Knights and Bikes is a co-op adventure made by Foam Sword, founded by Rex Crowle (creative director on Tearaway and Tearaway Unfolded, art on LittleBigPlanet), Moo Yu (gameplay programmer on Ratchet & Clank and LittleBigPlanet) and Kenny Young (audio lead on Tearaway and LittleBigPlanet). Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Dark Crystal) composed the score.

Nessa and Demelza are best friends exploring an ancient British island on their bikes, accompanied by Captain Honkers, a pet goose with a keen nose-beak. They throw frisbees, hurl water balloons, stomp puddles in welly boots and play a powerful boom box loud enough to wake the undead. An ancient curse is gathering across the island, and only their improvised abilities and growing friendship can deal with it.

Single-player runs solo with an AI companion, local couch co-op or online co-op covers two-player sessions. Customizable bikes, treasure hunting (broken action figures up to legendary riches), bartering with adults to upgrade gear, and feeding/playing with Captain Honkers all fold into the loop. The hand-drawn 3D art and storybook tone keep the whole thing wholesome.
