Last Train Home

Last Train Home draws directly from the historical Czechoslovak Legion: World War I has ended, but the legion is stranded in Siberia, caught between the Red and White Armies in Russia's brutal civil war, trying to make it home to the newly formed Czechoslovak Republic. You command an armored train carrying that legion across an unforgiving frozen wasteland with dwindling resources and exhausted men.

Real-time missions deploy your soldiers with specialist combat skills, planning, and superior tactics for each objective. Level up individual men by unlocking new skills, gathering better equipment, discovering their backstories, and assigning medals as they rise through the ranks. The non-combat side of the train asks just as much: craft items in workshops, heal the wounded in the medical car, manage morale, maintain the engine, and upgrade carriages.

The journey across Siberia stockpiles and trades supplies, makes new allies, and overcomes one crisis after another. The narrative is inspired by the legion's real determination, and the decisions you make along the way decide which comrades make it to the end of the line with you.
