Liftoff FPV Drone Racing

Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing is a first-person view drone simulator from LuGus Studios designed to translate the rush of actual FPV flight into the digital space, with a physics model serious enough to be used as practice for real drone pilots. The game supports the full range of FPV play styles — racing, freestyle, cinematic flying — and the underlying flight dynamics are tuned to match the behaviour of real quadcopters closely enough that the muscle memory transfers in both directions.

The customisation surface is broad. Drone frames, motors, props, batteries, flight controllers and transmitters can all be configured to produce a craft that flies like your real-world rig, or like something entirely unlike it. Transmitter integration is seamless with most major real-world controllers, which is the central feature for serious users — flying with a mouse and keyboard is technically possible but defeats the point. The simulator is the closest most people will come to real FPV practice without the hardware.

Single-player content covers structured racing courses and freeride environments, but multiplayer is where the largest player community lives — Liftoff hosts the biggest virtual FPV racing and freestyle scene available, with tournaments, regular meetups and shared track libraries. A track and drone creation toolkit lets the community build and share custom content, and the studio updates the game continuously based on community feedback, with new features and improvements rolling out regularly across the active development lifecycle.
