About Rooftops & Alleys The Parkour Game
Rooftops & Alleys is a parkour and freerunning sandbox from Cohort Games that focuses on the specific feeling of nailing impossible trick combos while defying gravity across massive vertical urban environments. The game's central appeal is the adrenaline rush of landing a precision sequence, threading a series of moves that look like they shouldn't work, and then occasionally crashing face-first into a dark alley thirty meters below when the timing fails.
The content surface spans large parkour-ready maps with hidden spots, time trials, trick challenges and complete freedom of movement across vertical environments. A pigeon companion helps you discover new areas, fast-travel to set markers, and plan routes through complex environments. Multiplayer covers TAG, Capture The Flag, Trick Battles, and pure freeroam exploration with friends, with up to four players per session. Customisation extends to over 100 unlockable options for both your character and your pigeon.
The core features cover both the immediate gameplay layer — intuitive controls, a tricking and scoring system, third and first-person camera options, ragdoll/bail buttons, slow-motion mode — and the broader content tools, including a level editor, dynamic weather, time-of-day settings, original in-game music, a replay editor and a photo mode. The session marker and pin-dropper system tied to the pigeon companion adds the kind of route-planning utility serious freerunning players actually use, while the multiplayer modes give competitive structure to what would otherwise be pure individual movement practice.
