LUFTRAUSERS is Vlambeer's stylish arcade shooter, a fast-paced aerial dogfighting game set above a perpetually wartime sea. White-knuckle battles against a crimson and cream sky directly recall the pure arcade shooters of the past, with tight gameplay, ridiculous combo systems, and challenges that demand precise muscle memory.

The customisation is the depth. Choose your weapon (machine gun, cannon, laser, homing missile, others), body (standard, light, heavy, etc.), and propulsion system (regular engine, hover, gunboat, others), with 125+ deadly combinations. Each configuration plays radically differently — and rearranges the dynamic soundtrack composed by KOZILEK to match your loadout.

Gameplay is a single-screen wraparound dogfight. Enemy fighter planes, battleships, submarines, and rival aces all share your airspace, and the combo meter rewards aggression — chains of kills extend your score multiplier, but every dive into the sea or stretch of inactivity resets it.

100+ daring missions unlock new Rauser combinations and vibrant color variations. From Vlambeer (Nuclear Throne, Ridiculous Fishing) — the studio's signature feel of crunchy mechanical satisfaction is at full strength here, and the late-WW1 propaganda aesthetic gives it a singular look that's still imitated.
