Mambo Wave

Mambo Wave is a 2D platform shooter set somewhere in Spain in the 1990s. You play Mambo, a soldier of the Spanish Special Forces who has spent over 20 years serving and protecting his country. On the verge of retiring from a hard life as a soldier, he receives one last mission from his commander and friend Alvarez: eliminate all the dangers plaguing the nation. Assigned to the Bripac paratrooper division, he is dropped by helicopter into hostile places to wipe out every trace of danger.

The mission is simple: advance behind enemy lines and destroy them all with the help of a cool and varied arsenal. Deployed into enemy territory, you face hostile traps and sentry guns from the start, and how you beat them is up to you, shooting them directly or blowing up the ground beneath them, though that sacrifices your own footing and risks a fatal fall.

Shooting enemies directly carries a reward, since they can drop health refills, grenades or one of four playable guns, each with its own benefits, from the one-shot bazooka to the reliable AK-47 and the rapid-firing MAC-10. The game contains 20 levels of gradually increasing difficulty plus an infinite game mode.
