About Meowjiro
Meowjiro is a casual combo of part-time job simulation, raising sim and collection comfort game built around an unusually wholesome premise. You work shifts at a Japanese convenience store handling all the standard clerk responsibilities — checkout, restocking shelves, heating up food for customers, cleaning, making soft serve ice cream — and at home you have a cat to feed and care for. The whole loop is about earning money so your beloved cat Meowjiro can eat well.
The convenience store gameplay covers various minigames tied to each task. As an all-can-do clerk, you take orders, manage workflow, and keep customer satisfaction high during busy hours so things continue running smoothly. Different tasks have different difficulty levels, and arranging them efficiently is part of the challenge. The customers themselves are varied enough that interactions stay interesting — the city around the store is populated with regulars who become familiar over time.
Once paid, the priority is buying Meowjiro food. As time passes, your cat grows up little by little — and gradually changes in subtle ways that make daily care meaningful rather than perfunctory. Beyond food, you can buy furniture or decorations for your home, making the place warm and comfortable in whatever style suits you. The pacing is gentle, the visual register is unmistakably cute, and the whole project is openly designed around the small daily joys of work, home and a cat with strong opinions about meal times.
