About OPUS The Day We Found Earth
OPUS: The Day We Found Earth is a multi-award-winning, story-driven puzzle adventure from the studio SIGONO. Set in year 160000 of the Galactic calendar, it imagines a humanity that has spread far across the stars over millennia of migration, so far that Earth's existence has faded into distant myth. With centuries of genetic engineering driving the gene pool toward a dead end, only samples of our earliest DNA can stave off extinction, and a lone spaceship sets out to rediscover our origin.
You help Emeth, a small robot, fulfill a centuries-old promise to his creator, Dr. Lisa, to find Earth. The core of the game is stargazing: you operate a deep-space telescope like a NASA scientist, scanning stars across the sky and exploring a vibrant starscape of lovingly crafted planets and nebulae.
Alongside the search, you comb the spaceship for items that uncover the crew members' pasts and the history of their long mission, all carried by more than 20 written soundtracks and a heartwarming science-fiction tale of a robot discovering a greater purpose in its tiny mechanical heart.
