Paperbark

Paperbark is a gentle adventure built around a short, heartfelt tale: a wombat, the Australian bush, and one blistering summer. You trail a drowsy wombat looking for somewhere new to live after a bushfire destroyed its home.

As you wander, the illustrated landscape paints itself in around you, the bush coming alive through stylized views of Australia, rich with watercolor and sound. The small game carries a big heart, drawing on well-loved Australian storybooks and the country's landscape painters for an emotive tale.

The story is fully voice-narrated, with animated storybook cut-scenes, relaxing gameplay, collectible insects and an interactive sticker library, set to an original string soundtrack. It comes from a story by Renee Treml, narration by Georgia Maq and music by Biddy Conner.
