Parkasaurus

Parkasaurus puts the management-sim formula in service of dinosaur husbandry rather than human entertainment, and the simulation takes the husbandry seriously. Each dinosaur requires a unique biosphere built from the right combination of biome materials, ecology, plant life, humidity, elevation, and exhibit shape, with privacy systems that reward thoughtful design over rectangular paddocks.

Washbear Studio built the park-builder loop around 80+ buildable items and four employee types, plus a dynamic guest review system where each visitor leaves a starred review based on personal experience. Dinosaurs hatch from eggs and grow to adult size in real time across 24 species in the base game, with new ones added over the course of post-launch updates.

The Return Home campaign sends you traveling the globe on missions that test your tycoon skills while helping individual dinosaurs reach their destinies. Escape scenarios are a real concern — keep an eye on exhibits as Dinos try to break out and attack guests. The two-person studio leans openly on the player community for word-of-mouth, and the game's design priorities — dinosaur welfare over pure park revenue — show through in every system.
