PixelJunk Shooter

PixelJunk Shooter pilots a spacecraft through cavernous environments to save scientists trapped underground. Progress depends on a keen sense of observation and the ability to manipulate your surroundings, with water, magma, and a strange magnetic black liquid all interacting in physics-driven ways that the puzzles weave together.

15 stages span the campaign, each combining hazardous substances, swarms of dangerous enemies, and stranded survivors who need extraction. The dynamic soundtrack reacts to your current danger level, intensifying when threats close in and easing when you reach safer pockets of the caverns.

Local co-op lets you recruit a friend to play through the rescue together. Retro visuals carry the presentation's polish, and the puzzle mechanics built around fluid simulation remain distinctive even years after the original release.
