Resident Evil 3

This reworking of the 1999 survival horror classic Resident Evil 3: Nemesis rebuilds its story and combat for present-day hardware. The camera sits over the shoulder, in line with Resident Evil 4 and the entries that followed, and most of the campaign puts you in control of Jill Valentine. Carlos Oliveira steps in at certain points as a second playable lead, expanding his role well beyond a supporting cameo.

The setting is Raccoon City during the worst days of the T-Virus outbreak, with the pharmaceutical giant Umbrella scrambling to bury the truth. Jill, one of the few S.T.A.R.S. members still alive and aware of what the corporation has done, finds the police force compromised and her warnings dismissed. To silence her for good, Umbrella deploys Nemesis, a relentless pursuer engineered for a single purpose: hunting her down.

The package also bundles Resident Evil Resistance, an asymmetric online mode that pits a team of four survivors against a lone Mastermind who manipulates the environment and unleashes creatures against them.
