About Rising Star 2
Rising Star 2 is a deep music-industry simulation where you start as a rookie musician and work toward stardom across the continental United States. You form a band, write songs, craft setlists, perform local gigs, work up to bigger venues, secure managers and producers, and chase record deals and endorsements.
The customisation surface is extensive. Choose hair styles, clothing, makeup, and visual identity for each band member. Buy custom paint jobs for the band van. Set up photoshoots with your bandmates and decorate your homes with art across multiple cities. 600+ types of real equipment cover guitars, drums, amps, mics, and PA systems, and tuning your gear to your sound is part of the strategic loop.
Management runs across the band's relationships, reputation, and tour logistics. Recruiting compatible musicians, balancing the personalities, writing the right songs for the right venue, and choosing which gigs accept all factor into your trajectory. Hiring managers handles record contracts, endorsements, and tour booking once your fame grows.
The map covers 130+ real US cities. You can buy a home in each one for cheaper touring stays, or stick to hotels and motels — trashing them is mechanically supported and provides reputation in exchange for the bill. 40 side jobs handle bills while you build up.
