About SpellRogue
SpellRogue is a turn-based deck-building roguelike where the deck is spells and the resource is a small pool of Mana Dice that you reroll, duplicate, split, flip, and enchant each turn. Spells require specific dice values to cast, so the puzzle of any given turn is shaping the dice into what your hand needs.
Enemies attack the dice and spells directly. Twisted mushrooms infect spells with spreading debuffs. Fiery elementals ignite spells, making them dangerous to cast. Voidbringers curse dice to roll poorly. The enemy roster doesn't just damage you — it disrupts your engine.
Four playable Dice Slingers each carry a different elemental mastery: Azar the Cinder Conjurer (fire and burning blood), Hazel the Earthen Mage (growth/withering), Lapis the Azure Seer (water, tides, poison), and Sefyra the Windcaller (storm and lightning, coming in 1.0). Each one fundamentally changes how you manipulate the dice.
350+ spells with two upgrade paths each, 75+ enemies with unique disruption abilities, 145+ artifacts, the Descent difficulty system for veterans, daily challenges, and a three-act campaign tracking the Voidbringer corruption. From Rocketsplosion Games — heavily influenced by Slay the Spire, but distinct in how dice manipulation reshapes every turn.
