STARWHAL grew out of a 48-hour prototype focused on couch competition, and the released version keeps that DNA. Up to four players control flopping space narwhals in arena combat where the goal is to drive your horn through the opposing whale's exposed heart - simple to grasp, mortifyingly difficult to do consistently.

Ninety-plus costumes, 25 arenas and four game modes pad out the local mayhem, with AI bots filling in when human numbers fall short. A single-player side delivers 32 obstacle and target challenges with leaderboards, ghost replays and achievements for solo skill development.

The game survived Steam Early Access by shaping its design around community feedback, and the new graphic effects layer on top of the absurd premise without obscuring it. You really can be a space narwhal wrapped in a burrito - the game commits fully to its own ridiculous identity.
