About StormEdge Wind of Change
StormEdge: Wind of Change is the first chapter of the larger StormEdge project, set just as the Elemental Storms begin to manifest. Lily, one of the first mages to sense them, ventures into a Forest where ancient magic has empowered the local creatures beyond their original strength.
The combat system has no cooldowns. Skills are tied to risky moves — vulnerability and damage trade against each other directly — so the most powerful options leave you most exposed. Dodging enemy attacks, triggering the various traps scattered through the Forest, and timing your own offensive skills around openings is the rhythm of every encounter.
The larger framing positions the game as a prologue. Lily's goal is to find the source of the magical disturbance behind the cycle of Elemental Storms, with the assumption that the broader StormEdge campaign will follow. The presentation runs on pixel art with detailed location design, the soundtrack reinforces the atmosphere, and full controller support is included for players who prefer it.
