Streets of Fury EX

Streets of Fury EX puts the depth of a 2D fighting game into a side-scrolling beat-em-up structure. The campaign sends you through the gangs of Paris with 24 playable characters and a full vocabulary of moves: special moves, furies, cancels, chain combos, air combos, dodges. The game treats each character as a fighter rather than a stock brawler.

Four-player local co-op spans both cooperative and competitive modes. The Security Level system unlocks new characters, modes, and content the longer you play. Story mode hunts gang leaders across the districts of the city. Alternate Story mode flips the perspective and lets you build your own gang. Versus mode handles free-for-all and team battle. Survival mode tracks endless wave runs. Challenge mode adds time attack on special levels.

The soundtrack is by K93. The roster includes cameos from real-world fighting-game pro players Kayane and Ryan Hart, alongside YouTube personalities Benzaie, Bob Lennon, and Nostalgia Critic. Any controller works; the input system is built around fighting-game precision rather than beat-em-up looseness.
