Supplice

Supplice is a stylish shooter that looks back to the mid-1990s, when the FPS was in its prime, and to the legendary Doom modding scene. It pairs that retro flavor with bright graphics and breakneck pacing, something familiar yet still fresh, with loud action, huge weapons, even huger foes, and pixel art with real style.

The story takes you out to the fringes of a universe humanity has long since outgrown. You were part of a terraforming crew, tasked with scouting and readying fresh worlds for settlement. Letting bio-mechanical horrors loose was never in the brief, but cleaning that up is now firmly your problem.

Each clash with the mecha-mutant fiends is short and savage. Being an engineer, you bring a wide kit of tools to these practical problems, from industrial drills and flamethrowers to conventional firearms and experimental weaponry. Alternative weapon modes help too: drop your minigun into place as a static sentry to watch your back, or blast flammable gas from the flamethrower and light it to open up some breathing room.
