About The Elephant Collection
The Elephant Collection rescues thirteen of John Cooney's blue-elephant Flash games — originally published on Armor Games over a decade — and remasters them with cleaner art, higher-bitrate audio, and ad-free play. The roster covers the full breadth of his work: This Is the Only Level 1, 2 and 3 (one level, different solution every time), Achievement Unlocked 1, 2 and 3 (think outside the box for hundreds of achievements), Elephant Quest (a sidescrolling action-RPG with a laser-shooting pachyderm), Obey! the Game (microgame compilation), Run Elephant Run (a worldwide escape), Elephant Rave (about lasers, mostly).
The Basement expansion adds Treadmillasaurus Rex (a T-Rex on a treadmill), Elephant Rave 2, and LOOT The Game (a train heist with loot drops). A new meta-narrative ties everything together: the little elephant has forgotten his achievements, and unlocking new ones in each remaster recovers his memories.
The games kept their original mechanics intact while the art was redrawn for modern resolutions. Achievement Unlocked 2's multiplayer mode is the lone feature that did not make it across the conversion. Bright flashing lights warning applies, as it did in the originals.
