The Fabulous Fear Machine

The Fabulous Fear Machine is a narrative-driven strategy game with pulp-horror style from Fictiorama Studios, the team behind Do Not Feed the Monkeys. You're the newest Master of the Machine, a mysterious device that lets you generate fear and expand your influence by playing Legend cards: scary stories, urban myths and conspiracy theories that hide in the dark corners of the mind.

Over 80 Legends span cryptids like the Black Dog, urban legends like Bloody Mary, and conspiracies like Reptilians. Plant them in fertile ground, watch them grow as media reacts, feed them with resources, and harvest the resulting fear into expanded influence. Agents are dispatched to new map locations to explore, infiltrate enemy operations and clear paths for your Legends to take root.

Multiple Masters operate in different regions of the world, with overarching plot threads tying their stories together. The history of the Machine, its enemies, and the Agents who aid you fills the background lore.
