The House of Da Vinci 2

The House of Da Vinci 2 is the second entry in Blue Brain Games' Renaissance puzzle-adventure trilogy. You play Giacomo, an apprentice to Leonardo da Vinci, exploring intricate handcrafted mechanical 3D puzzles and uncovering hidden secrets in beautifully rendered Italian Renaissance environments.

The central mechanic introduced and refined in this entry is the Oculus Perpetua, a device that lets you travel through time to alter the present. Puzzles often require solving them across multiple time states — adjust an arrangement in the past, return to the present, find the world subtly changed in ways that unlock further progression.

The presentation is the studio's signature combination of close-detailed mechanical contraptions, gears, hidden compartments, and ornate Renaissance ornament. New 3D objects and puzzle types expand on the first game's repertoire, and improved controls make navigation more intuitive than the original release.

This entry adds full voice narration throughout the story, including cinematic cutscenes — among them a sequence depicting da Vinci's creation of The Last Supper. Plays as a standalone follow-up to The House of Da Vinci, though completing the first entry first gives the wider narrative more weight. Released between the studio's first and third trilogy entries.
