Voor De Kroon

Voor De Kroon is a medieval wargame set during the Friso-Hollandic Wars of the 13th-century Low Countries. It combines a strategy campaign with historical battles, letting you both command your troops and fight alongside your army in third-person combat.

You conquer a historically researched recreation of the 13th-century Low Countries, managing settlements and officers and eliminating your enemies. Battles range from open-field 13th-century skirmishes to intense sieges, and the game uses Unreal Engine and Metahuman technology to bring its researched characters to life.

The Warforge editor offers rich customization, letting you create your own factions, swords, castles, units, and campaigns and share them through the Steam Workshop. The game was developed solo in the Netherlands.
