About STATIONflow
STATIONflow asks a question anyone stuck in a crowded subway has thought: could you design this station better? It is a game about controlling the flow of thousands of passengers by building and managing an efficient underground train station, with each passenger simulated in real time with their own needs, stats and destinations.
You build complex 3D layouts across a multilayered map, placing and shaping corridors and structures freely without grid constraints, and connecting everything with stairs, escalators and elevators as efficiently as possible while keeping it all accessible. The goal is to avoid congestion and move passengers smoothly, and you guide them with signage, manipulating the paths people take to dodge crowds, since the shortest route is not always the most efficient. Passengers also expect services, so you place vending machines, kiosks, bathrooms and restaurants.
You work on a budget, balancing upkeep against passenger satisfaction, and receive daily evaluations based on feedback: do well and the higher-ups extend your budget and construction options along with greater responsibilities, do poorly and bankruptcy looms. You can create and share your own maps through the Steam Workshop, browse others' creations, and adjust difficulty from a relaxed sandbox to a serious test of your station-building skills.
