Arthurian Legends

Arthurian Legends is a medieval first-person action game set in the land of Albion during a time of myth and legend, before the rise of Camelot. The lore: King Uther Pendragon blamed magic for his queen's death and banished it from Albion. The Masters of the Old Religion, exiled mages, now aid Saxon armies invading from the east. Crops die, water turns foul, and you stand alone against an army of Saxons, demonic beasts, possessed knights, the undead and worse.

Combat is gleefully gruesome. Slice through Saxons, demonic beasts and skeletons with over 10 different weapons, smash them with your shield, cut off heads, make them explode in a magnificent shower of blood and guts, or beat them down with a good old-fashioned fist or spiked club to the face. Magic runes let you conjure balls of fire, freeze enemies and shatter their corpses, cast thunderous lightning storms, and unleash other elemental devastation.

The campaign spans three chapters across dark forests, forts, swamps, frigid wilderness, frozen caverns, castles, crypts and caves. Many hidden secrets and shortcuts hide across each level, packed with items, magical runes and powerful ancient relics. Beyond the story, Arena and Horde game modes provide additional combat-focused content. The aesthetic and gameplay sit between Hexen and Heretic, with Old English language flavor throughout.
