Asterogues

Asterogues is a cosmic bullet-hell and shoot-'em-up hybrid about beating up planets. You pick a character from a band of outcasts cast out by the Sun itself and banished to the Asteroid Belt, and set out to take revenge against the entire Solar System.

Each rebel uses a unique power, along with the items and weapons they collect, to fight toward the center of the Solar System. Across various zones, swarms of asteroids, aliens and stars hurl an endless onslaught of bullets at you, and only the most adept dodging and shooting will see you through. The eight planets stand vigilant over their territories, ready to destroy any trespasser, and must be taken down before you can reach the Sun itself.

Every character carries their own grudge against the Sun and their own special ability to turn enemies' bullets back against them. Dozens of unique passive and active items found during a run create powerful synergies, giving each playthrough a different shape, while learning each enemy's bullet pattern is the key to survival.
