About Wally and the FANTASTIC PREDATORS
Wally and the FANTASTIC PREDATORS wraps a fast, smooth rogue-lite in unmistakable middle-school weird energy. You play Wally, a predatory fox raiding defenseless animals at home and taking their money, while picking up upgrades, curses, weapons, and quests that permanently rewrite each individual run.
The design lifts the infinite-synergy spirit of Binding of Isaac (weapons start wimpy, items stack into chaos, dying resets you), but the personality is its own. Daily and weekly Twists ratchet things further: a 50% bonus-bomb chance, glass-cannon openers, universal crits, the kind of "why not" modifiers a tired developer scribbles down for fun. There is also a level where everything (enemies, bullets, UI) just becomes the letter A.
10 dungeons, 150+ upgrades/curses/weapons/quests, five run types, five boss fights that defy easy description, a Hugging Simulator, branching greed paths, and a mysterious True Ending round it out. Local-only co-op (one copy needed) lets you drag a friend into the same nonsense; the developer cheerfully admits the reason is that he never figured out netcode.
