Avadon 3 The Warborn

Avadon 3: The Warborn is a sprawling indie fantasy RPG built in the old-school style, bringing the Avadon trilogy to its close. You play a Hand of Avadon, warrior, spy, judge and executioner, granted near-unlimited authority to defend your homeland. But that homeland has been overrun by barbarians and monsters, and you alone hold the means to stop them.

Combat is tactical and turn-based, fought across cunning dungeons and a large, distinctive world. Five character classes each offer dozens of spells and abilities, and exploration turns up hundreds of enchanted artifacts that powerful crystals can strengthen further.

The story runs through fascinating characters, hard choices and frequent twists, supported by dozens of side quests and hidden secrets. Several different endings hang on the decisions you make, stay loyal to your leaders or turn against them, follow orders or grasp for more power. No experience with the earlier games is needed to enjoy this one.
