Avernum 2: Crystal Souls is an epic indie fantasy role-playing adventure set in a massive subterranean world. The underground nation of Avernum is a maze of strange caves, cunning dungeons, and the alien peoples of the underworld, packed with more than 100 towns and dungeons to explore.

The game offers over 50 hours of play and a rich system of more than 60 spells and battle disciplines, along with many beneficial character traits to choose from. You can fight the invaders in up to three distinct game-winning quests, tackling just one or all three, alongside dozens of side quests and hundreds of magical artifacts to hunt down.
