Bulb Boy

Bulb Boy is a 2D point-and-click horror adventure about a boy with a glowing bulb for a head. One gloomy night he wakes from a frightening nightmare to discover that evil has overshadowed the Bulbhouse, his family has disappeared, and horrid monsters lurk in the shadows. He must gather courage and use his glass head to save everything he loves.

Gameplay channels Machinarium and Gobliiins. Solve puzzles, defeat wicked monsters, and reveal Bulb's abilities as you unfold a twisted tale. The glass head lights up to survive electrical shocks but can also be unscrewed for use in strange places, with the unscrew-and-roll mechanic recurring throughout the puzzles. Don't forget to save Grandpa-raffin and Mothdog from the dark.

No dialogue interrupts the story: bubble speech in animated clouds carries the narrative. Playable flashbacks let you control other family characters, reliving Bulb Boy's childhood memories to uncover what is happening now. Secrets, gross-out horror, and poop in many sizes and proportions populate the Bulbhouse alongside the more conventional puzzle elements.
