Children of Silentown

Children of Silentown is a dark, beautifully hand-drawn adventure game about Lucy, a girl growing up in a village deep within a forest inhabited by monsters. By day the forest is calm, but at night their roars rob Lucy of her sleep. People disappearing is nothing unusual here, but this time Lucy is old enough to investigate on her own, or so she thinks.

This point-and-click adventure tells a mysterious, endearing story as you explore the town and its dangerous surroundings, meet quirky inhabitants, solve puzzles, and master minigames. Music plays a crucial role, and learning to sing helps Lucy in times of need. Combining items can yield wildly unexpected results.

The game comes from the creators of Little Briar Rose in collaboration with studio Luna2, wrapped in a unique, unsettling 2D art style fitting for its dark tale. You meet many quirky characters and animals, be kind to them before they disappear, play minigames with the village children, and contend with a very mean cat programmed to torment Lucy at every chance.
