About Dark Bestiary
Dark Bestiary puts combat at its core rather than story. Continuous turn-based battles against monsters fuel the structure, and the depth comes from a rich combat system and the freedom to build whatever character concept you can imagine: inquisitor, spirit-caller, necromancer, or eldritch archer, all viable inside a classless progression system.
Dozens of skills, talents, and items combine into ability sets that grant additional passive bonuses and let you fine-tune your character beyond raw stat distribution. Combat encourages multiple solutions (quick wit, companion synergy, brute force, or powerful spells), and the synergy between abilities is where the long-term playtime sits.
The story campaign runs 21 missions to teach the systems. Patrol mode offers replayable runs for loot and skill refinement, Nightmare cranks the danger for thrill-seekers, and treasure-map adventures send you hunting for buried rewards through traps. Crafting recipes and ingredients build armor, weapons, and potions with socketable gems, and a pre-fight Eatery grants additional combat bonuses.
