Decarnation

Decarnation plunges you into a haunting, dreamlike adventure where reality and fantasy blur. Inspired by Silent Hill, the original Alice in Wonderland, films by David Lynch and Satoshi Kon, the surrealist heritage shows in every shift between scenes. The story follows Gloria, a Paris cabaret dancer in 1990 at the end of her rope, whose deteriorating career, relationships, and self-esteem are interrupted by a mysterious patron's offer she couldn't refuse.

The gameplay mixes adventure and action through a variety of mini-games: solve cryptic riddles, confront ominous enemies, and explore a bewildering world that requires consideration, responsiveness, and coordination. Survival horror weaves itself into the fabric of Gloria's everyday life as monsters and nightmares bleed into the cabaret routine.

The Rêve and Cauchemar soundtracks feature contributions from numerous artists including Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), whose work blends horror and the paranormal into the nightmarish tale. Numerous references and inspirations from cult horror works shape the world, layered into the visuals and structure of the haunting story.
