Executive Assault

Executive Assault is an indie hybrid of real-time strategy and first-person shooter, where you not only build a base and raise armies but can also drop in and fight as any individual unit you own. As the CEO charged with taking over the planet, your job is to defeat a rival company.

In RTS mode you construct large base complexes with every facility you need, build factories to churn out robotic troops, research advanced technology and direct your army to annihilate the competition. Facilities snap together into seamless complexes, upgradable with defense turrets, doors and forcefields. Your army ranges from nimble robots up to heavy tanks and towering walkers, backed by long-range artillery and missiles, and the map is scattered with resources like Thorium crystals and rare meteorite materials.

FPS mode answers that itch to stand alongside your troops on the ground. Take control of any unit, or take to the skies in fighter jets and shielded hover cruisers, and, unusually for the genre, you can step inside the very buildings you raised and fight room by room, defending your robot factory or breaking into an enemy power station to sabotage it. There is multiplayer and a co-op mode where one player builds in RTS while friends play as the robots, plus a technology tree of over 140 technologies.
