Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 is the VR-friendly sequel to the franchise's previous Help Wanted experience and continues the formula of putting players in the role of a Fazbear Entertainment employee navigating various pizzeria-management situations. The new role is a brand-new Pizzaplex employee, and the job description is broad: food prep, ticket booth attraction operation, behind-the-scenes maintenance, salon prep work, and many other increasingly horrifying tasks.

The content covers a much wider variety of activities than the original. Go Backstage as a VIP to help Roxanne Wolf and the S.T.A.F.F bots prepare for performances in the Pizzaplex Salon. Head into the Fazcade for classic minigames like Bonk-a-Bon and Fazerblast. Work the Staff Only section delivering first aid to patients who aren't quite feeling themselves, performing routine animatronic diagnostics, and helping with maintenance. Food Prep courses train you in the federally-mandated high-speed food service all Fazbear locations require.

E-ticket attractions add more variety. Captain Foxy's Cowboy Adventure is a lighthearted log ride where you float through the old West as a gunslinger in search of booty. The Sister Location minigames are VR versions of classic experiences from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, bringing fan favorites into the new VR environment with all their original tension preserved and amplified.

The horror sits underneath all of this. The Fazbear job is, as always, considerably more dangerous than the corporate orientation videos suggest, and the various minigames operate within and around the larger story the franchise has been telling for years. For Five Nights at Freddy's fans, this is the most comprehensive VR-friendly entry to date; for newcomers, it's a way into one of the most distinctive horror franchises of the 2010s and 2020s.
