From Glory To Goo

From Glory To Goo is a sci-fi survival RTS set on a hostile alien world, where you serve as humanity's last line of defense. You expand a colony, securing enough shelter, water, and power for your colonists while the rest of the crew waits in orbit above.

As your spacecraft is dragged down toward the planet, it draws more of the Goo, a relentless, shape-shifting force that closes in from every side, above and below included. Quiet stretches are for preparing; the rest is holding back the waves. Expansion is what keeps you alive, claiming resources, uncovering wreckage from earlier doomed expeditions, and meeting native aliens to befriend or destroy.

You recruit and build varied units, some unlocked through research and some tied to specific captains, and each captain gains experience, levels up, and earns new weapons, skills, and passive abilities. Repairing and upgrading the colony ship is central, since resources sent back into space fund manufacturing zones, laboratories, and weaponry. Procedurally generated maps across different biomes shift the strategy each run, and completing objectives unlocks more ships, captains, and biomes whether you win or lose.
