Hexarchy

Hexarchy reworks the historical 4X formula around deckbuilding and short games. You build cities, improve your land, gather and trade resources, and chase victory through culture, military conquest or the construction of an expensive wonder. Researching technologies and adopting civics is how you assemble a deck tuned to your strategy and play style.

Resources are scarce and every decision counts. Land improvements feed your economy, and those resources go into buildings, armies, gold or game-changing wonders. Conquest is optional but rewarding: master the terrain, protect your supply lines, outmaneuver rivals and pillage their improvements. A global trade system runs a dynamic market for buying and selling, and units can be upgraded with powerful promotions.

With 13 unique civilizations, each with its own unit, ability and bonuses, plus multiple map types and modes, games last under an hour and replay endlessly. Solo skirmishes, daily and weekly challenges, the cooperative weekly Hegemon Challenge, ranked competitive multiplayer and co-op against AI teams all give you somewhere to put a strategy to the test.
