About Inua - A Story in Ice and Time
INU - A Glimpse of Infinity is an atmospheric exploration adventure set in an infinite 3D fractal universe. It blends the feel of Journey with No Man's Sky across truly endless, mesmerizing alien landscapes that were not designed so much as discovered, dimensions no soul has ever traveled. Gamepad controls are highly recommended for flying weightlessly through them.
As you glide through the worlds, you gather energy in fly-by without breaking your flow, managing resources through an intuitive, easy-to-use system. You also fight to turn the darkness back into light, with simple yet challenging combat and auto-aim that keeps you in a constant flow state, while flying enemy units protect their bases by hunting you down. Each level-up lets you customize your character across five complementary systems, booster, ammo, armor, sensors and weapon upgrades, and a robotic companion named Nixie brings its own progression, a flashlight and a protective shockwave.
The whole game is designed around a flow-state experience. The abstract but organic aesthetic of the 3D fractals has a profoundly relaxing effect, comparable to watching clouds or listening to whale song. It is the creation of a single developer at RobotHeart Lab in Leipzig, Germany, an indie studio devoted to combining games and fractals so players can experience stories and adventures in virtual worlds only recently discovered by humans.
