About iRacing
iRacing is a computer-based motorsport simulation built around online competition. A membership opens the door to organized internet racing, from NASCAR and World of Outlaws to Australian Supercars, sports cars and Grand Prix machinery, needing only a PC, a wheel or gamepad, and an internet connection. All you supply is the driving; iRacing handles the scheduling, fields and officiating.
The service centrally organizes racing across more than 150 cars and tracks and around 40 official series, and it backs that up with realism the genre is known for: cars engineered with real-world race teams using real physics, tracks recreated as laser-scanned replicas, and dynamic surfaces that change over the course of a race. Practice, qualifying, testing, time trials and Heat Racing all sit alongside the official events.
Beyond the sanctioned competition, you can host private sessions, run tournaments, or join one of more than 800 leagues. Team Racing lets you share driving, spotting and pit duties with teammates across events that run as long as 24 hours, and the online community numbers in the hundreds of thousands. A selection of cars and tracks is included with membership, with the rest available as separate purchases.
